DJ QuestionMark

Photo
DJ QuestionMark (Ying Chi Shuan) is a champion of the DMC World DJ competition in Taiwan.
As a DJ and cross-genre musician, DJ QuestionMark is one of the small number of creator-DJs in Taiwan who uses media installation in his work. His mixed-genre music takes him to the theatre, the stage, the cat-walk, parties, and even animated shows. In recent years he has worked extensively with singer Olivia Yan, and in 2014 they released the album Moment to Moment along with a new brand of fashion music that plays at fashion weeks in Paris, London, and other fashion cities.
DJ QuestionMark is set to take the stage with Olivia Yan at the Golden Melody Music Festival this year. Both artists believe that music recognizes no borders; they hope that through music they can bring all sorts of different elements together—the visual and the audible—to really move the audience.

In 2010 a two-singer, five-dancer group was formed, 2KD5—a new version of the common boy band. Soon after, the band became spokesmen for the clothing brand Carnival. In April 2012 they dropped their first album, Love Absolute , which won them critical and public acclaim.
Two new members joined the group in 2014. It was at this time that the band also began incorporating a smattering of different elements into their performances, including getting involved in all the backstage work. Along with their management company, the band founded the KEDA Artist Training System, pledging that the system would bring new visual, musical, and performance elements into the Chinese music world.

MJ116

Photo
Right out of the streets of the Muzha district comes this rowdy group of youngsters—Eso, Kenzy, and Muta.
All are from pretty regular families, but since they were always roaming about the streets, they always came off as a bit rough around the edges. But that was the past—now, they concentrate on their rap and their music. Fresh Game, their album which came out last year, sold over ten thousand in its first week on shelves, and even took top spots on several billboard lists. Rowdy they may be, but isn’t that just another side to being young in this day and age? Being rowdy just means they’re true to themselves and have a positive outlook—That's MJ116!

OVDS

OVDS combines electronic dance and rock with on-stage visual effects to redefine the concept of music. At Fuji Television's Asia Versus music competition they won the championship at the weekly and monthly levels. After the group collaborated on a song with the Japanese superstar singer Kumi Koda, they went on to release the first bass-electronic music album in Taiwan, Heartbreak Resistance, a critical hit recommended by the Taipei Times as “one of the best indie albums for 2014.” They have performed on the same stage as Taku Takahashi from the Japanese electronic group m-flo, the master DJ/producer Shinichi Osawa, and 80Kidz of Tokyo Electro. In March of 2015 they were invited to perform at SXSW in Austin, TX, the world's largest festival for movies, media, and music. Then, in May, they performed at Sound of the Xity (SOTX) in Tokyo, Japan.
