GMA Festival Invites SQUEEZE MUSIC from Japan

Startup Sessions Facilitate Collaborations across Industries

......... 2018/6/16 . . .
GMA Festival curates its exhibition this year around the integration between music industry and latest technologies. It invites four local companies (HTC VIVE, Funique VR, LyraVR, and Han Chuang Culture and Art) and two Japanese companies (Lyric Speaker and SQUEEZE MUSIC) to showcase their innovations. These applications explore emerging business models in music industry. The new startup sessions identify startups related to popular music, including licensing platform, interactive technologies, data applications, lighting design, and campaigning platform, to drive local music industry forward with new dynamics.

The exhibition invites SQUEEZE MUSIC from Japan to demonstrate its ideas. The juicer automatically analyzes music selected by user, and produces juices accordingly to extend the fun and enjoyment in music. Lyric Speaker, a subsidiary of COTODAMA, can display and decorate lyrics when listening to music. This technology is useful for performances venues. HTC VIVE collaborates with musician Eric Chou. Through virtual reality devices on site, viewers can experience his concerts again. Funique VR, LyraVR and Han Chuang Culture and Art will all engage with participants. Lumic, with hundreds of concert experiences, will exhibit its interactive devices. Five other startups, including AddCreative, RUMU Innovation, Aotter, and Accupass, are attending startup sessions this year to introduce their concepts, services and applications in music industry.
