Hailing from Brisbane, Chinese Australian Julia Wu has over 10 years of classical piano foundation and studies at Berklee College of Music, which cultivates her experience of live performance and musicianship.
In 2017, her debut English EP “@henry” and debut Chinese single “Under the stars” was released on KKBOX, bringing a new style of PB R&B to the Taiwanese scene. In the fall, “1:28”,her first digital album, was released, The R&B infused collection of self-penned songs received positive acclaim from critics, radio DJs and fans. Breaking tradition and keeping in line with her digitally based climb to prominence . her album was released as a limited edition AR book as well as a 1 year prepaid card for streaming platform, KKBOX, which featured her cover art as its design. The following month, she featured in a cypher song celebrating Nike’s 35th anniversary of their Air Force One classic shoe. In December of 2017, she collaborated with Taiwanese rap impresario Kumuchan on a chart topping song released through Taiwanese hip hop LongHuMen called “MyBong”.
Vita is a rare female R&B/hip-hop artist in Taiwan. She is of indigenous ancestry. Her proficiency in singing and stage charisma is exhibited in various performances all over Taiwan. She has been lauded by other musicians as having the power of Beyonce and the glamor of Rihanna. She is also one of the most conspicuous new artists among the new generation of Taiwanese female artists. She released her debut self-penned hip-hop single in 2017(KKBOX New Single TOP100) and has been releasing music ever since.
December 2017, Lumi's first album “A Portrait Of My Milky Way” has made him one of the next-to-watch pop stars. Not only because his metrosexual style, but also the mixture of 90s’ brit pop, electro pop and mandarin pop rock with folk music that make Lumi stand out.
Lumi wrote his first song in high school and his poems were frequently selected and published on newspapers. Lumi keeps working on songwriting, composing and producing soundtracks during his university days.
