The 35th Golden Melody Awards ceremony will be on June 29th, starting at 7 p.m. at the Taipei Arena.
The Red Carpet event will begin at 5 p.m. at the Taipei Arena South on the same day.
Media who are interested in these events can visit the GMA official website and apply for a press pass.
Due to limited space in the interview area, the number of press passes issued will be limited.
◎Application Periods:
- Media Registration is from 9:00 on April 29th to 23:59 on May 15th, 2024.
- Approved media outlets can sign up from 9:00 on May 8th to 23:59 on May 27th, 2024.
Note:
Application starting and ending times are based on Taiwan time. Since it takes time to review applications and produce press passes, please pay attention to the deadlines.
Any late registrations or applications will not be accepted.

New Media Friends:
Register a new account in the “Register an Account” page → Approved → Log in → Fill out the Application Form for press passes → Upload the signed and stamped documents → Approved → Collect the passes (Please make sure to send the original copy of the signed and stamped documents, including the Notice to the Press to the TTV Office.)

Register from last year:
Fill the company name applied last year in the “Register an Account” page → Adjust the information → Approved → Log in → Fill out the Application Form for press passes → Upload the signed and stamped documents → Approved → Collect the passes (Please make sure to send the original copy of the signed and stamped documents, including the Notice to the Press to the TTV Office.)
◎Detailed instructions:
- After you finish all the online processes, please print out your application form and all licensing agreements. Sign and apply your company stamp seal on these documents.
- Once you finish the steps mentioned above, please upload scans or photos of these document pages onto the website by May 27th. (Your files have to be in JPG format and the file size cannot be over 1MB.)
- After the documents uploaded are confirmed, the organizer(executing agency) will notify you to send the original version of your application form (including “Notice to the Press”) and all licensing agreements with the company seal and signature to the TTV Public Affairs Office (Address: No. 10, Section 3, Bade Road, Songshan District, Taipei City, Taiwan).
- After mailing, please call to confirm receipt. June 7th is the deadline for receipt. Only after receiving the original can the press pass be issued.
- For applications at the above stages, the organizer(executing agency) will notify applicants through email.
- The following applications will not be accepted: late online/faxed applications and incomplete applications.
◎Notice to the Press:
Media outlets which pass initial review and want to apply for a press pass should consult the
2024 Golden Melody Awards & Festival Notice to the Press for more information.
Please follow the notice strictly. In case of violation, the organizer (executing agency) may request to delete or remove the offending interview materials, and may refuse to accept the offenders’ applications for the next year.
- Please do not entrust other companies to apply for the pass. The organizer (executing agency) will not accept the situation.
- The review process and preparation of the passes take time; please complete the required processes before deadlines. Late applications will not be accepted.
- Due to limited space and seating, please give priority to print and photo journalists working on the scene in your applications.
- Due to personnel constraints on the event and to protect the rights and interests of qualified applicants, we will not accept changes to contents or journalists without prior notice. We apologize for any inconvenience caused.
- Due to space limitations, the organizer (executing agency) reserves the right to determine the total number of press passes issued and to deny any applications.
- The application approval standards are based on the stories and plans submitted by media outlets. The organizer (executing agency) will also take into consideration regarding the audience reach, such as media publishing figures, subscribers and news clicks. Whether the plans can be regionally or cross-regionally influential is important as well. Last but not least, due to limited space in the interview area, issuance of press passes may be limited in number and the organizer (executing agency) reserves the right to deny the applications.
- Applications will be reviewed by the organizer (executing agency) before press passes are issued.
- Please observe all relevant regulations regarding the pass, each pass allows the holder to cover designated locations in the applicable areas (i.e. the red carpet press area or GMA winner’s area. This does not include the GMA ceremony’s front stage, back stage, hallways for GMA winners, lounges, makeup rooms, and any other areas that are not designated press areas) in the designated manner.
- Please have the passes on hand at all times on the day of the ceremony. Passes are non-transferable. Lost passes will not be re-issued.
- Media outlets shall not transfer or sell passes, the organizer may revoke all passes issued to the media outlet given any violations to this condition.
- Audiovisual contents and photos provided by the organizer (executing agency) shall not be resold or used for any other commercial purposes. Use by other media outlets through any collaborative effort is also prohibited. The licensee is responsible for all damages and civil liabilities resulting from any copyright infringements.
- The organizer (executing agency) may request the Company to delete or remove any contents produced in violation of any terms and conditions set forth herein and may deny subsequent applications given any violations to the Notice to the Press.
- The Awards Ceremony and related GMA events shall be handled by the Central Epidemic Command Center.

◎All changes will be announced on the GMA official website. Inquiries should be directed to the TTV GMA Office. Final interpretation of any disputes should comply with the organizers’ resolutions.
