SHANG Tai-Yu (Moderator)

Chair of the Board at Association of Digital Culture, Taiwan

Shang Tai-Yu is a senior media professional. Her media career started in 1983 and spanned from television, concert, cable news, programs, production to management. She shifts her focus to new media since 2008 on new applications and development in this digital world. In 2014, She founded Punchline, an online media outlet that covers entertainment industry in Taiwan. She also started Taiwan Beats in 2015 to promote pop music from Taiwan to the world via social networks.

Sam DUANN

President of Rock Group International

Sam Duann founded Rock Magazine in 1976, the first music magazine in Chinese-speaking world, before starting music business Rock Records in 1981. The company distributed for multiple international labels, such as EMI, BMG, and Naxos in Asia, and set up branches in Singapore, Japan, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong and Korea in 1990s., managning the talents including Beyond, Leslie Cheung, Sandy Lam, Anita Mui, CLON, HOT、SES、DIVA、JuJu Club. The company later shifted to online and mobile platforms in response to market developments. After becoming global partner with iTunes, YouTube and Spotify in 2012, Rock Records established the first live house in Guangzhou the next year. Its business expands from music publishing, artist management, mobile services, to other entertainment products.

Vincent FANG

Lyricist, Director

Vincent Fang is a lyricist and film director. He integrates Chinese culture and components into over 400 pieces of lyrics so far. His visual works also resonate with his unique creative styles. Besides nine nominations in Golden Melody Awards, his has directed various music videos, a short film and one feature film.

Atsushi OTA

President of Boulevard Corporation

After completion of master's degree from Waseda University, Ota had been working on acquisition and overseas licensing of animation works at Sony Pictures Entertainment (Japan) for two and a half years. In 2009, he joined Lantis, a record label of Bandai Namco group, and had been engaged in music production, animation/game tie-ins, concert production and domestic/international marketing. In 2014, he founded a new company Boulevard Corporation and started working as a president. He is producing a lot of cross-media projects as well as doing international business.
